BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Barbara’s Church, Ashton under Hill

By the side of the main road near the path which leads to St Barbara’s Church is what may have started as a preaching cross. On the top of it is a prism of stone, two sides of which carry declining dials. Though both gnomons survive no markings can now be seen on either dial whose faces are each 300mm square.
