St Mary the Virgin Church (2), Elmley Castle

This multiple sundial can be seen as you walk along the path towards the church porch. It is on the north side of the road at the east end of the bridge over the river Avon. It has a great many dials including vertical, reclining and scaphe dials. There is also the coat of arms of the Savage family. The dial was restored in 1971 and replacement copper gnomons were added. A mass dial can be seen on the church wall.
