BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary the Virgin Church (1), Elmley Castle

Over on the East side of the churchyard is a multiple sundial with 20 dials of various sorts, some reclining and others scaphe dials of varying shapes.The ball finial missing. Gnomons restored in 1971; one (reclining) since missing. The dial is badly worn and no numerals are visible. The stone is 1520mm high. The dial may date from the 16th century.
