BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Saints’ Church, Bakewell

The dial is over the door of the church. It was in poor condition in 2016. The inscription once read "In such an hour the Son of Man cometh" and the date 1793. These are now barely visible. Shows 6am to 6pm, in half and quarter hours, with 4 marked as IIII. Ref: Derbyshire Advertiser Notes and Queries of 1935. Ref: Henslow ’Ye Sundial Booke’, Foyle Ltd, London, 1935, p130
