BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Peter & St Paul., Weobley

On the porch is a slate vertical dial which declines 7° East. Set in a stone frame It shows the hours VI - V (using IIII and XII) divided into halves and quarters. There is a semicircular red and gold sunburst round the root of the gnomon. At the bottom of the dial plate there is a motto which reads: "One day telleth another and one night certifieth another". The dial may be very slightly canted and/or even inclined. Mark to right of gnomon support suggests that the gnomon position may have been corrected at some time. The dial measures 1520mm square and dates from 1866. Two mass dials can be seen on the church wall.
