BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Peter’s Church, Mevagissey

The motto on this slate dial over the South porch perpetrates a dreadful pun on the word "dial". "We Shall Dy All" it says, and similar mottoes appear on several other sundials in the county. The church has abandoned its old saints, Meva and Issey, and is now dedicated to one regarded as more respectable. The dial plate is cracked, weathered and colonised by lichens so that it is not easy to read the hours VI to VI, which are divided into halves, the motto and the date of 1703.
