BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Denis’ Church, North Tamerton

The dial on the church porch has not just one cheerless motto but two. At the top it tells us to "Take heed. Watch and Pray, for ye know not when the time is", Mark XIII v33. Beneath the dial is inscribed, "Brethren the Time is short", I Cor VII v29. The dial is canted out on the east side. It is similar to dials at Milton Damerel and Bridgerule in Devon and they may have all been by the same maker.
