BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Pol de Leon’s Church, Paul

Paul is a windswept place which possibly explains why Mrs Crowley chose to draw only Father Time at the top of the dial. The rest of the dial would have been worth a drawing since the engraving is excellent and remains clear to this day. The half hour lines each have a fleur de lys and all the lines originate from the sun’s rays around the gnomon root. The gnomon has decorative supports as well.
