BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Christopher’s Church, Lympsham

Over the porch Shows 6am to 6pm in half and quarter hours. XII for Noon, IV for 4pm. The noon line is divided. The gnomon is thick with a fine ’S’ shaped supporter. The maker’s name is shown in white. Two faint unengraved lines across the dial at the point of the gnomon support may be construction lines. XII for Noon, IV for 4pm. Date probably 1830-40.
