BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Sundials don’t come much plainer than this stone one on the rood stair turret. It declines 25° East and shows the hours from 5am to 5pm divided into halves and quarters. There is a small cross at noon as well as the numeral. There are three concentric circles round the gnomon root but no other attempt at decoration. It clearly didn’t interest Mrs Crowley very much when she drew it in 1958 since she omitted some details and drew numerals extending to 7pm. The dial measures 1200mmw x 900mmh.
