BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Wenna’s Church, St Wenn

This dial on the tower was given to the church by the Rev John Dunn of St Eval who may also have been its designer. It seems he was not responsible for the punning motto as Burge tells us that this was not added until 1903. The engraving is wonderfully fine and precise, enabling the hours to be divided down to 5 minute intervals.
