BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Village centre, Bristol

A single dial plate on a cube on the pillar. Shows 6am to 6pm in 30, 15 and 5 min marks. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals vertically aligned. E&W sides of cube have shields embossed in the stone - though they are worn. The dial is in the centre of the village which was built by John Nash as a Rustic Village.
