BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in London (Greater)

The dial is a memorial to Noel Ta’Bois who died in 1988. Two bronze cats (Coffee and Cream) sit on a square stone plinth with engravings on four sides. The tail of one cat forms a gnomon and casts the shadow for the dial on the south side. An inscription reads: "The shadow stood for but a moment upon the hour of his death then silently moved on". The dial shows 8am to 5pm in Arabic numerals. An EoT graph is also engraved on the stone.
