BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church, Ipplepen

The slate dial here is sited high enough on the two-storey porch to avoid being shaded by the yew tree opposite. It declines 24° East and shows V - III divided into halves. At the top is the date 1715. It has some damage to the edges but is still quite legible. It is 300mm square.
