BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Michael’s Church, Ilsington

The bronze dial here fell from the porch damaging its gnomon and is now kept for safety in the vestry until it can be replaced. It is 300m square. Across the top is the motto, "Vigila Oraque" (Watch and Pray) in Gothic letters. There is a semi sunburst at the gnomon root. The hours shown are VI - VI divided into halves and the numerals at the sides are tilted in a rather haphazard manner. There is a noon gap to compensate for the gnomon’s width.
