BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Devon

The brass horizontal dial in the churchyard is a memorial dial standing on the square top of an octagonal section column. The maker is Cary of London but whether this was John or his brother William is not clear. It probably belongs to the 19th century. It has lost its gnomon, a common fate of horizontal sundials. It measures 230mm dia.
