BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Waltham Abbey Church, Waltham Abbey

The church is also refered to as the Church of Holy Cross and St Lawrence. Circular dial on square plate. Shows 7am to 5pm in half and quarter hours. Hour lines extend beyond time circle with Roman numerals at edge though not in their own border. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals vertically aligned. Noon gap. Substantial gnomon with Noon gap. Not easy to read numerals.
