BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Shermans House, Dedham

Shows 6am to 5pm in 15 min intervals. Nodus halfway along gnomon but no declination lines or other markings on the dial plate. Uses XII and IIII. Sun semicircle around root. Black lines on white ground. Black chapter ring with gold numerals and markings. Rod gnomon supported by two side struts. Façade dates to 1730’s. Located opposite Parish Church.
