BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Mark Hall (Harlow Museum), Harlow

A vertical sundial mounted within a cycle sculpture in the Museum gardens. Circular dial on face of a sun. Shows 6am to 6pm in hours. Numerals oriented vertically. Simple unsupported rod gnomon protrudes from centre. Curiously two lines (extensions of 9am and 3pm) pass across the face above the horizon.
