BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary the Virgin Church, Dover

High on the southern face of the Norman tower, this wooden dial is well preserved and must have been regulary repainted. The gnomon springs from the centre of a stylised semicircular sun, with rays that also start the hour lines. Noon is marked by a star.
