BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St John the Baptist Church, Knaresborough

The dial is on the South face of the South aisle.Blue chapter ring with silver? lettering and white dial centre. Ornately pierced gnomon. Uses XII and IV. Strange use of VI centrally above the horizon line to serve for am and pm. Metal dial with wooden surround. Canted out slightly on East side. Repainted 1997, slightly stained and worn by 2008.
