BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Yorkshire (N)

The dial has been cut in two along the line of the gnomon (i.e. Across the corners of the dodecagon) and the gnomon has been replaced/repaired. Name partly visible reads "Rob Sprxxxx" Shows 4am to 8pm in intervals of 1,2,3,5,10,15 and 30 mins. Uses XII and IIII. Numerals read from inside the dial. Modern looking, hexagonal topped, Portland stone pedestal inscribed "VR 1887" and plaques noting restoration in memory of Frank Richardson d1963, and Edna Darnbrough, d 1995.
