BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The Albert PH, Ilkley

Motto reads: "Vigila oraque" across top. Mounted on wooden boards inset into an oval window opening. Shows 6am to 6pm in half hour intervals. Uses XII & IIII. Split Noon. Stylised sun at gnomon root. Hour lines pass through numerals. Previously recorded at Queen Anne’s Restaurant, and at The Mallard, now The Albert.
