BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Michael and All Angels’ Church, Warden

Breakarch design with sun and root at centre of arch. Shows 7am to 6pm in half hours. Black furniture. Uses XII. Numeral for 4pm not visible. Strip gnomon with single convex supporter. Some spalling. Date may be 1671. Pevsner’s Northumberland p609 gives porch date as 1765.
