BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Andrew’s Church, Hartburn

Three semi cylindrical dials arranged around a cube on the ridge of the porch. The whole tilted so that the South facing one is angled at the latitude. A fourth dial surface - though smaller - appears on an early drawing below the main one. Ball finial and short supporting column. This dial is of the lecturn type found commonly in Scotland and there are at least two more in private hands in Northumberland (see SRN 2227 and 4507).
