BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Cumbria

This is a Grade 2 listed building at the west end of the village, with wings added to each side making 12 vertical shadow casting edges. It is said to act as a sundial though it is not very clear how.
