BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

’Lattendales’, Greystoke

The dial is in the sunken rose garden at the rear (to the south). It shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 10 and 5 min marks. Eight point compass with alternate double and singly patterned point markers. Gnomon is of open ’triangular’ (lambda) form with rear protruding decoration near the top and angle 54 degs. Three point fixing. Dial plate needed slight levelling in 1990. Mounted on circular cross section pedestal with twist design column 1195h. Octagonal capital 400 across flats.
