BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Yorkshire (W)

8-point labelled compass rose. Numerals from outside IIII - XII - IIII - VIII, other furniture no longer legible. Gnomon was in 2010 loose and could be moved about 10 degrees to the east. Now (2013) removed. Square section pedestal tapers downwards and stands on a circular stone base. Can be seen on an engraving dated 1812, so predates that.
