BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Newby Hall (1), Ripon

The dial is located on the front lawn and is a cube complete with four dial faces, all with gnomons, set on a tall circular-sectioned column with a Corinthian capital. It is surmounted by an amazing iron work weather vane in the form of a flag above a spreading flower and fruit spray. The south dial face shows 6am to 6pm in hours by raised Arabic numerals. The west face seems worn by comparison, and the other faces have not been recorded. The base of the column is surrounded by a circular bench raised on four stone balusters, with four arms each supported by a carved stone lion.
