BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Church of St Mary, Astbury

Above the porch, a stone supported by iron dogs driven into the wall. Only a few marks remain on the dial. It is an historic part of the church, but it would be nice if it were replaced by a well made replica, always keeping the original of course.
