BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.
Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.
Hatherlow Sunday School is situated on the A627, near the Spread Eagle public house. Its vertical declining dial dates from 1911 and is in fair condition, having been repainted for the Millennium. Its delineation is suspect, particularly up to 11.00 am.
