BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Michael’s Church, Mottram-in-Longdendale

This multiple stone dial be found in the churchyard of St Michael’s Church. It is in fair condition, 3 m in height with three faces. The motto reads: "Watch and Pray, Time Hastes Away, When Time is done, Eternity comes on". The dial was restored in 1897 to commemorate the sixtieth year of Queen Victoria’s reign.
