BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Lacock Abbey [NT] (2), Lacock

Shows 4am to 8pm in 30, 15, 10, 7.5, 5 and 1 min intervals. Five gap transversal (vernier like) scales give 2 min marks. Numerals read from outside the chapter ring. Noon is marked as XII and 4am & 4pm as IIII. Fleurs de lys (inward) half hour markers. Furniture includes a 16 point compass; coat of arms; noon at 17 cities: Pekin, Bengall, Fort St George, Ispahan, Surrat, Ierusalem, Moscow, Hannover, Port Royal in Iamaico, Constantinople, Dublin, Lisbon, Madera, Ferdinando Isle, St Sabastion, Berbadoes, Mexico; Equation of Time Watch Faster/Slower scale (Julian calendar) to half min and design Lat 51° 24 ‘. (Gnomon angle 51° 08 ‘). Located on a terrace to the SE of the house, set on fluted circular section waisted bulbous pedestal on square plinth.
