BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Michael’s Mount [NT], Marazion

On the battlements of the castle is a fine bronze horizontal sundial. It shows the hours IV-VIII subdivided down to 1 minute intervals, every tenth minute being labelled with an Arabic numeral. In the centre is a 32-point compass rose and there is an Equation of Time scale. Times of noon at cities all over the world are engraved round the chapter ring and the coat of arms of the St Aubyn family appears on the dial plate. It is a 19th century dial made by Troughton and Simms.
