BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Hilary’s Church, St Hilary

A well made dial adorns the porch and has in the arch the motto "Aetas Pede Cito Praeterit" (Age hastens on swift feet). Below that appears the maker’s name, H.Bond, who could rightly feel he had done a good job in 1787 with this sternly practical dial. The half-hour divisions have a fleur de lys ornament and all is still clearly legible.
