BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Mary & St Gregory’s Church, Torrington

Motto Reads: "UMBRA SUMUS". [We are a shadow] followed by the date, 1741. Shows 6am to 6pm in quarter and half hours. Uses XII and IIII. Circular dial scale on lozenge oriented 680mm square. Numerals aligned with hour lines and read from outside. Scroll pattern in corners. Pointer ended (rusty) gnomon.
