BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

The dial gives a colourful welcome to those entering the church porch. It is of painted wood surrounded by a wooden frame. At the top is the commonest of sundial mottoes in a star within a sun surrounded by a cloud. Although it is a direct South dial it only has numerals for the hours VIII - IV divided into half hours by lines tipped by three dots. It measures 610mmw x 450mmh.
