BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

It is difficult to explain why Mrs Crowley should have chosen this rather eroded dial for the first of her long series of sundial drawings in 1953. It is not near her home and because of its condition she was not able to convey much information by her sketch. There is even less to see today: only a few hour and half-hour lines remain and the numerals X and II. The dial measures 400mmw x 380mmh.
