BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

All Hallows Church, Woolfardisworthy

Canted East high on the South transept this slate dial is supported by an iron bracket. It declines West and shows VII - VI divided into halves and quarters. The half hour lines each end in a fleur-de-lys. Round the arch at the top is the motto "Sol Tibi Signa Dabit" [The sun will give you signs]. Attractive ’S’ shaped gnomon supporter. Since the dial declines and is also canted,it may have been resited from the porch. It measures 305mmw x 380mmh.
