BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Giles’ Church, Chollerton

Gnomon missing, lead plugs remain. Date and initials CS JR at head of dialplate. Standing on the ground, face inwards against S wall in 1989 and in still there in 2000. Dial may have fallen or, more likely, been taken down for safety as its iron clamps corroded.
