BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

St Leonard’s Church (1), Otterford

On the porch gable Shows 6am to 5pm in 30 and 15 min intervals. Motto (1) at the bottom of the dial, reads: "Our days on the earth are as a shadow and there is none abiding". The last 5 words are worn away. Motto (2) inside the gnomon root circle reads: "Tempus Fugit". The declination is approximately 15 degrees East. The dial is heavily lichened.
