BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Mills Observatory (1), Dundee

The dial is on the rear wall and can be viewed from the dome. It shows 6am to 6pm in whole hours. Solid triangular gnomon. Morning and Afternon hours identified. The dial was taken down for a period but was reinstalled after restoration by the Dundee City Council in November 2019. Ref: http://www.leisureandculturedundee.com/culture/mills
