BRIDOL is the British Sundial Society's Register of Fixed and Mass Dials, which gives detail and photographs of about 8000 fixed sundials and 3000 mass dials in the UK.

Some of these are in private gardens, but the majority are publicly available.

Dial in Surrey

In Rose Garden. Very early BSS record. Shows 3am to 8pm in hours. Set on pedestal having three rampant mythical beasts in stone, 890 high. Inner circle size quoted as 155 dia. Gnomon missing in 1932. Recorded by NT as their Item 1246944 (’not on show’).
